Super Discount

Gosh I have been so disorganised recently. This whole Christmas and birthday thing has really frazzled my brain, that and the constant cold I have- the joys of having a pre-school child who generously shares everything he picks up.
I have been really busy with fare and parties. I did my first teenage making party recently which went really well. The girls were fab and made some stunning pieces.
I made a lovely ring with 2 flower beads by Laura Sparling, which is totally stunning, and sold!! In fact a necklace that I was about to recycle was sold to the same lady.
I still have not heard back about Look magazine, but they kept the ring for a few weeks so hopefully they will use it.
I have decided to run a discount on Kookie Designs and Kookie Beauty for the festive period to help with the cost of Christmas for my lovely clients. Every little helps
Well I am prepping for a fair tomorrow and it is time to collect my little cherub from school.
Have an ace weekend x

Cocktail Ring

I had an ace but odd day Friday. I was ill in bed with some strange lurgy when the phone rang. Bri answered and dashed up stairs. Nina from The Look Boutique had called to say the Look Magazine wanted me to send one of my Cocktail rings to them for a shoot they were having yesterday. I should find out tomorrow if they have indeed used it. HOW FAB!!! I am so shocked and blimmin delighted. Anyhoo I will let you know what happened.
Other than that I am beavering away making necklaces and bracelets, I just need some sunny days to get some decent picks. My light tent is not liking the gloom.
Take care

I am so excited, Bri (my hubby) and I are off to see Elbow tonight in Camden. We saw them in lovely Oxford earlier this year and they were completely amazing! I have butterflies already. I whole evening of Mummy-off grown up husband and wife time, bliss. Gosh will we have anything to say to each other, lol.
On the jewellery side all is well, actually it is a bit quite but I have now added a Folksy site to my portfolio lol. The Etsy store is quiet I think that shoppers over the pond are even more nervous than us. The Gallery in Dartmouth have had lots of interest but people are waiting until nearer Christmas to buy.
I have had another Gallery voicing interest but I ma a bit nervous about the outlay of making another collection for them before I sell any existing pieces, any advice is greatly appreciated.
I am also looking at doing some make it parties, you pay £10 per head and make a piece of jewellery with you buddies, I will obviously show how, and you leave with a piece you have made all on your onesies. I need to advertise!!!
Right I am off to eat lunch and then shower
HAVE A GREAT DAY
